GREETINGS!

Hi, I’m Nicole and I'm delighted to have this opportunity to introduce myself. You could say that I wear a lot of hats. I'm a highly educated, successful businesswoman who runs her own company, an adoring aunt to Annalia (the little gal in the picture with me in the pink dress and wonderful smile}, and an owner of the Bay Area's friendliest, happiest dog. But more than anything, I'm excited to share with you what I’m all about. Come - let me show you photos of my home, my great big family, and our adventures.

All About Me

I was born in Las Vegas, the oldest of three children. My mom and dad created a home for us with such kindness and caring, we may have come straight from a sitcom.

When I was 13, we moved to the San Franciso Bay Area, where all five of us have made our home ever since. We reconnect regularly for family events, like weekly dinners and attending church services.

Ever since I was young, caring for children has been a passion of mine. After graduating from college with a degree in child development, I began working at a daycare and then decided to open my own wonderful daycare.

My daycare has been a big success. So many of my students’ parents tell me that their children have learned so much from me. I think I’ve learned even more from them.

Cheerleader Flashback! That’s right – that’s me, back in my high school days. I was head of our school’s cheerleading squad. I was also a youth educator, a member of the high school choir, and a performer in our drama club’s musical productions.

My mom and dad encouraged me and my siblings to participate in a wide variety of school activities, as a way of discovering our passions and honing our craft. That encouragement and broad range of opportunities are definitely values I want to pass on to the next generation.

My Loving Family

Nick in the Neighborhood: My brother Nick and I have been very close our whole lives. So, you can imagine what a delight it is to have him and his two little ones, Annalia and Taylen, so close by.

Living near each other has given me the chance to be a really active aunt. Some days we go swinging and climbing at the playground in our local park. Other times we’re taking a hayride and visiting a pumpkin patch. And some days, well, we just hang out at home, munching on snacks and making good use of our bibs. Whatever we do, we always make the most of our time together.

My mom and dad live next door to me and right down the street from my brother and his two kids, so my dad is always dropping by. He may be one of the most active granddads in the world.

My mom may not be famous around the world, but within our family, her kind and gentle ways are well-known, that’s for sure. She and my dad have been married for 48 years. From her, my sister Ashley and I have learned important core values, such as mutual respect and support.

Our Furry Family Member

It’s not just the humans in our family who have a special connection. Our beloved mutt Black Knight is an equally valued member of our gang. He and my niece Annalia have a real bond. Whenever Annalia drops by, she and her canine BFF meet up in the living room to play with each other’s toys, share a good meal, run around in a circle, and swap stories about their recent adventure.

Final thought

In our family, we think of Sunday as Family Day. It’s the day we all get together – brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, grandparents and grandkids. As my brother Nick and nephew Taylen will tell you, when we’re all together, you don’t need a reason to start smiling.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about me and my family. Looking back on all of these photos, I feel truly lucky to be a part of this big, happy, cohesive family that I have.
